‘the secrets we keep from ourselves…’ was originally commissioned by Nottingham Castle Museum & Art Gallery for ‘Lace Works; Contemporary Art & Nottingham Lace’ Exhibition 2012/13. Over the last year Lucy has been stabilizing the work and completing instalment guidelines ready for ‘the secrets we keep from ourselves…’ to be handed over to ‘her’ new, permanent home; Nottingham’s’ Contemporary Art Textile Collection.
Lucy would like to thank Deborah Dean, Victoria Hobbs and Pamela Wood at Nottingham Castle, Museums and Galleries for their continued support, patience and agreeing to fund the additional studio space to help with the conclusion of ‘the secrets we keep from ourselves…’
Come and see ‘the secrets we keep from ourselves…’ fill this space!
