The 16th International Triennial of Tapestry; Breaching Borders exhibition (16ITT) at The Central Museum of Textiles in Lodz, Poland is a great success and it’s very popular among the museums visitors and specialists in and outside of Poland. The Triennial has won the ‘Exhibition of the year 2020’ in the Polish Patches of Culture Award.
Prior to the threat of COVID-19, The Museum had already decided to extend the Exhibition until the 29th March 2020, and now, depending on what happens the Museum is hoping to extend the exhibition until the end of August 2020. The organisers will be planning a programme of events including lectures, talks and discussions for the end of the exhibition to celebrate Textile Art. The Museum will announce more details in due course. Please visit their website to keep in touch with 16ITT; https://cmwl.pl/public/informacje/16-miedzynarodowe-triennale-tkaniny,68
