‘The Self Skins’ were my final works for my Goldsmiths 1995 Textile degree show. These nine works have been exhibited and published extensively post-degree show, including in Crafts Magazine, Flexible 2; Netherlands Textile Museum & European Tour, Observer magazine and Bankfield Museum UK.
Along with Self Skins 1-8, ‘A Chain of Being’, a framed work on paper, has also been handed over the Goldsmiths Textiles Collection. ‘Self Skin 9’is part of The Private Art Collection of Rose Knox-Peebles. ‘A Chain of Being’ was one of three Self Skin works on paper also part of my Goldsmiths 1995 Textile degree show.
