‘The Self Skins’ return to Goldsmiths, University of London

I am really so pleased to announce that ‘The Self Skins’ (1-8) have now returned back home to Goldsmiths, University of London and are now part of Goldsmiths Textile Collection, Special Collections & Archives, based in the Constance Howard Gallery, Goldsmiths Deptford Town Hall Building, London. http://www.gold.ac.uk/textile-collection/

‘The Self Skins’ were my final works for my Goldsmiths 1995 Textile degree show. These nine works have been exhibited and published extensively post-degree show, including in Crafts Magazine, Flexible 2; Netherlands Textile Museum & European Tour, Observer magazine and Bankfield Museum UK.

Along with Self Skins 1-8, ‘A Chain of Being’, a framed work on paper, has also been handed over the Goldsmiths Textiles Collection. ‘Self Skin 9’is part of The Private Art Collection of Rose Knox-Peebles. ‘A Chain of Being’ was one of three Self Skin works on paper also part of my Goldsmiths 1995 Textile degree show.
